Exercise and rehabilitation is most often used in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments.
Active Therapeutic Movement

Active Therapeutic Movement is accomplished by using a machine that repositions the the body segment into a position that no longer elicits pain. The patient then does exercises in that position to eliminate pain from movement disorders.

Cervical Traction

The cervical spine is supposed to have a normal curve going towards the front of the body. A lot of people I treat no longer have that curve. Cervical traction helps restore that curve.

Nutrition Testing and Counseling

Taking supplements can sometimes be a shot in the dark . You may be taking a lot of stuff you don't need. We talk with you to find out your goals then test to see what specific supplements you need then you are taking what your body is actually deficient in.

Dr. Murphy Asks some important questions of interest to Round Rock residents - Chiropractor Round Rock Dr. Murphy Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
